The Olympus ECG‑5 External Grip (OLP‑ECG‑5) is an accessory designed specifically for the OM‑D E‑M5 Mark III (and OM‑5) cameras. It improves handling with a deeper grip surface, and includes a shutter release button and front control dial for one-handed operation.
The ECG‑5 significantly enhances grip ergonomics and one-handed handling for the E‑M5 Mark III and OM‑5—especially when using larger lenses or shooting outdoors. While it does limit quick battery changes, it compensates with stability and direct control.
